The Hideaway Cabin


The Hideaway Cabin: is secluded in our twenty acre forest beside a pond and offers a nostalgic taste of the past.  Go for a stroll, breath in the fresh forest air, you might see deer and other wildlife, listen to the sounds of nature, and enjoy a small campfire under the stars.

For your convenience there is a small kitchenette.  We provide a European style continental breakfast consisting of a variety of cheeses, cold cuts, veggies, locally baked breads/scones, yogurt, fruit, coffee, tea, with accompaniments to get you started before heading out for your day.

For your relaxation, there is a comfortable sitting area with a view towards the surrounding forest and pond.  There are local magazines and books to browse, as well as free Wi-Fi, and a TV with internet.  Weather and seasonal permitting, there are several out door areas to sit and enjoy the sounds of nature, the warm glow of a camp fire, and on clear nights the large forest clearing allows for beautiful star gazing.

For your sleeping comfort, bed linens are quality cotton (flannel available upon request during the winter months), along with hypoallergenic pillows and duvets.

Rates:
Nightly: $300
  * Rates are in Canadian dollars and subject to 13% HST Ontario's Harmonized Tax.

Policies:

- Check-in window 4-7 PM.  Check-out by 11 AM.
- Accommodation is for up to two adults.
- Due to the property's natural features, we do not accommodate children and pets.
- Guests are expected to leave the cabin as they find it at check-in. 
- Garbage/recyclables to be bagged and deposited into indicated bins at check-out.
- There is no daily maid service.
- Itemized policies are provided at the time of booking.

View from windows are south and westward towards mature deciduous trees, perennial garden, and pine forest.    On the main floor we have a lounge for your use with a TV and music.
