'Livia accommodated our last-minute plans very well and was a pleasure to meet. Our stay in the cabin was exactly what we were hoping for! The cabin had a wonderful rustic charm that we both loved. Breakfast in the main house was delicious and the friendly conversation with Livia was delightful. The home is full of character and the property is stunning. We were sad to leave, but promised ourselves to return soon!' Angie, Grimsby, ON, July 2014.
'What a great place to stay while visiting the Elvis Festival in Collingwood for two days. After a day of crowds and lots of music and noise it was wonderful to return to this comfortable B&B in the country 10 minutes away from town and enjoy the fresh air and quiet surroundings. We took a nice hike out to the cabin in the woods and were able to enjoy the forest and the lovely gardens surrounding this country home. The B&B has a very warm and inviting décor and our hosts Livia and Trevor were very friendly and able to advise us on local restaurants. We had a wonderful hot tub on Saturday evening after a day at the festival and then retired to the comfortable Sage room for a nice quiet rest. The breakfast was a lovely home cooked omelet with fresh fruit and juice.' Loretta, Sharon ON, July 2014.
'We were planning to spend one night at the Nottawasaga Hideaway. We were very much welcomed after a fun filled day with a much needed pleasant and quiet evening. The room and bathroom were excellent. After an very much needed rest, we were welcomed again with a top of the line organic breakfast. You can't get this quality of food just anywhere. We had planned to leave shortly after breakfast, but with sudden car trouble we found ourselves stranded. Trevor drove me into town to help me find some transmission fluid, but to no avail, my car needed a specialty fluid. Being Sunday and no car dealerships open, we needed to stay another night. Again we were welcomed, and both Trevor and Livia went above and beyond any of our expectations. They drove us into town so we could shop and then drove us to a restaurant so we could have dinner. So very kind of them both. In the morning, I was able to get help from the car dealership and with another excellent breakfast we were on our way. The accommodations, food and hospitality were all 5 star ++ Thank-you again Trevor and Livia for all of your kindness.' - Robert and Ana, July 2, 2014
'I just spent the weekend at Nottawasaga Hideaway B&B and could not have asked for a better experience! Livia and Trevor are warm, lovely people who did everything to make our stay comfortable. Livia is great at accommodating dietary restrictions and the breakfasts on both days were delicious. I was really impressed to see that she mainly uses homemade, organic and really high quality ingredients in her cooking. Our hosts were also really helpful at suggesting trails and places to visit nearby. The property is gorgeous; the house is very clean and nicely decorated. They also have a hot tub outside with a beautiful view. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to visit the area. We can't wait to go back!' - Anonymous, Canada April 24, 2014
