'My girlfriend and I stayed at the Sage room on our trip to Collingwood. We are not typically B&B people, but I think this experience converted us. As first time visitors to the area we did not have any knowledge about things to do and places to visit. Livia took the time to forward us pamphlets and ideas days before we actually showed up at Collingwood. When we got there we were welcomed by Livia and Trevor and the furriest cat we’ve ever seen, Fushki. Our room was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and we appreciated the flexibility we were offered regarding when and where we could take our meal. Additionally, the couple helped us plan our day and thanks to them we were able to have a really great time on the trip. I will be sure to visit again when I’m in the area but next time I’ll probably stay in their picturesque log cabin. I highly recommend Nottawasaga Hideaway B&B!' - Anonymous, Toronto, September 19 2013
'My wife and I visited this wonderful area while on vacation, but Nottawasaga Hideaway B&B turned out to be our trip highlight. I did not want to leave this quiet and beautiful oasis. The property trails were surprisingly remote and beautiful, and the flowers around the grounds were spectacular. Although we stayed in the Sage room, the rustic cabin looked like something out of a magazine. Livia and Trevor made it feel like we were visiting old friends. We just loved our time with this wonderful couple. Inside of the house, including the rooms, are gorgeous. There was no issue with the shared bathroom. Breakfast was ample and delicious. Fine art, stunning features and interesting antiques made the experience special. But again, Livia and Trevor were the best feature. I recommend this B&B to anyone who is visiting the area. We both want to go back there!' - Kim and Bob from Cleveland, USA September 2013.
'A fabulous three nights spent at Trevor and Livia's b&b! We couldn't have been happier with our choice of accommodation - a real home from home. Livia is the perfect host and cook, her house is very welcoming, comfortable and spotlessly clean and her hospitality absolutely second to none. She couldn't have been more helpful to us during our stay. Some very nice touches were taken care of during our break away, which really made all the difference. Thank you for adding to the joys of our time and experience in Canada, we would love to come back some day! ' - Sophie and Craig from London, UK July 6,7,8 2013

'We had a lovely time at Livia & Trevor's house and greatly enjoyed the "hideaway" away from the big city lights and noise. I felt very comfortable with my 11 yrs old boy and Livia was very accommodating and friendly. I particularly admired the house's character with real art hanging on the walls and furnished in good eclectic taste. I will definitely come back when visiting the area.' - Elena and Allan, from Toronto, May 18 2013
'We had a lovely time with Livia and Trevor. They were extremely warm and welcoming, and we felt we were treated as though we were family. The breakfast was delectable, and our favourite activity was watching the birds. Livia and Trevor pointed out all of the different types, and took the time to ensure we had everything we needed and were enjoying ourselves. We are certainly hoping to come back to Nottawasaga Hideaway, and will recommend it to all of our friends.' - Erica from Toronto, ON, April 14 2013
What can I say!!??? My boyfriend, along with Livia and Trevor's help, planned to surprise me with a proposal which couldn't have been more romantic- candles, wood burning stove, private log cabin! So romantic and perfect for our night... We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the morning with the hosts, I was still walking on air but appreciated the conversation and flowing coffee. Thank you so much for being behind the scenes in a night I will never forget! Couldn't have been more romantic and perfect :)' - Cynthia from Toronto, ON, March 19 2013
'Livia and Trevor are great hosts as well as interesting people. They obviously enjoy life and the variety of guests that come their way. Livia went out of her way to find a recipe for a dish I casually mentioned on the phone when booking. It was very good. The Hideaway setting is beautiful in winter. I hope to see it again in the summer.' - Jay Bailey, Le Voyageur Errant from Simcoe, ON, March 7 2013

'Our stay at the hideaway was great. The cabin out back was just what we needed to get away and have a few days to enjoy the outdoors. The cabin is set up and easy to run without electricity and water. The living areas are clean and well kept and the breakfasts were delicious. Livia and Trevor are excellent hosts. We are sure to make a return visit.' - Liam & Rochelle, from Tillsonburg & Mississauga, February 12 2013

'We enjoyed our stay in the Cabin. It is new, very clean and quite. The wood stove added an air of nostalgia. The bathroom in the the main house is excellent. The main house and cabin are very well maintained. The sauna provided a great opportunity to warm up after a long day outside. The breakfast was made to order by Livia, filled us to the brim and met everyone's dietary needs. The conversion made us feel like one of the family. The birds was plentiful during the breakfast hour.' - Rusty and Cathy, Lively, Ontario Jan 26 2013
'We had a wonderful stay at this B & B. The house was clean, spacious and Livia and Trevor were wonderful hosts. We went snowshoeing, hot tubing, nature watching and had great conversation...staying there was just like being at home; comfortable and cozy. We would definitely recommend this B & B and would certainly return. ' - Jodi, from Toronto, January 29 2013
'I booked our weekend at the Nottawasaga Hideaway with the expectation that it would provide us a warm place to sleep after winter sports and a visit to the Scandinave Spa. In reality, the blessing of meeting Livia and Trevor and staying in their breathtaking and fascinating home quickly became the highlight of our weekend. Livia and Trevor embody natural hospitality and exude warmth. Swapping stories over delicious and hearty breakfasts, we forgot that we were at a B&B and not visiting great friends. I know we will continue to share our great discovery with others until we are able to return ourselves.' - Lindsay Redman & Justin Lovell from Toronto, Canada, January 8 2013
'We arrived to a beautiful country home, covered under a blanket of white snow. We were immediately greeted by the always warm and smiling Livia who showed us around the common room and a kitchen that every chef would drool over (I certainly did). We came to the area to partake in the Scandinave spa for NYE and ended up sharing an intimate and lovely evening with both Livia and Trevor, sharing stories about almost everything - that's how easy they are to talk with! Did I mention the AMAZING kitchen? Livia worked her magic cooking up an absolutely scrumptious breakfast before we took a little jaunt through the light snowfall on their 20+acres of property. We will definitely come back to stay here again and have already started spreading the word within our circles! Thank you Livia and Trevor for your outstanding hospitality! 'What an amazing place we are so happy we found it. It was snowing when Livia led us down the winding road through the forest, at the end we came to a small clearing were a beautiful cabin sat in front of pond, it was fairy tail come true. From the bright red cardinals, hot tubs and saunas at night to lovely breakfasts. This place is special in every way, as are the hosts. Thanks for a great stay over the new year, cant wait to come back' :-) - Mark and Bronwyn, from Toronto 1 January 2013
