'It all started with a warm welcome from our wonderful hosts! We were mesmerized by the artistic feast for the eyes, as we entered the home and our lovely, spotlessly clean bedroom. We revelled in the peace and tranquility of the setting, loved the home-made breakfast, and had to tear ourselves away from the instant friendship that I'm sure everyone feels when they meet Livia and Trevor. Thanks so much to you both for making your home our home - we have already begun spreading the word! '

We love travelling off the beaten track, and found the beautiful log cabin to be just that - perfect for us in every way. We loved the generous hospitality, yummy food, nature hikes, dogs (esp Winne and Amy (best name ever lol :) and of course our wonderful hosts. Cannot forget my alltime favourite the hot tub. We will definately return again in the near future for another getaway. thanks again!

In a quest to find some solitude, shopping, fine dining, as well as attend a seminar, a friend and I each booked a room for the weekend in Collingwood at Nottawasaga Hideaway. Louise and I felt uncertain that our expectations would be met - it seemed like a pretty tall order! As it turned out, our weekend at Nottawasaga exceeded every hope that we had. Trevor and Livia were gracious, friendly and inviting. The accommodations are warm and cozy, the food delicious and the hospitality amazing. I strongly encourage you to have a stay with them, just 5 minutes from downtown Collingwood.

Rob and I wanted a bit of an escape this past weekend- out of the city/ busy lifestyle. Our stay at Nottawa Hideaway was such a pleasurable experience. Livia/ Trevor were more than hospitable, we felt so comfortable, the place was clean, they have a hot tub (who can ask for more), the food was delicious (she even accomodated gluten free for us) & they've got lovely property; it really felt like a hideaway. We prefer B&Bs for the hospitality you receive, and this is surely the place you want to go if you are looking for a home away from home. I am already planning another weekend when it's cooler to return- this time for 2 nights! :)
- Diviya & Robert, from Toronto 29 October 2012
My partner and I had the pleasure of spending three nights at this spectacular B&B on the outskirts of Collingwood, in perfect proximity to the area's best attractions. The Sage room was spacious and very comfortable. Hosts Livia and Trevor are warm and welcoming as is their home. Meals were delicious and accommodating to our gluten-free diet which was greatly appreciated. We have enjoyed many B&B's through our travels and have to say that Nottawasaga Hideaway rates first class. We look forward to returning.

B&B stays are so much better than hotel ones -- more intimate, homey and pesonal. And Nottawasaga Hideaway ("NH") is a very fine example. Livia and Trevor are a relaxed couple and make you feel as welcomed as family. Friendly chat with them and with other interesting guests, a great breakfast, wonderfully built and decorated home (the plank floors are exceptional!), nature at the door -- this B&B has it all. I can only highly recommend a stay at NH to anyone visiting the COllingwood, Wasaga Beach, Grey County area. I expect to be back myself.

We recently stayed at the Nottawasaga Hideaway and had a wonderful time. Livia and Trevor were very attentive hosts, the house was ultra clean and comfortable, and the gardens were very peaceful. We went for a long walk along the nearby trail one morning, and sat by a fire that Trevor built that evening. Livia is a great cook too. We would highly recommend this B&B!

We recently stayed at Nottawasaga Hideaway and had a wonderful experience. Trevor and Livia were warm and professional hosts. The property was beautiful, filled with gardens and ponds. The room was lovely and breakfast the next day was delicious! The entire experience was fantastic.

Nottawasaga Hideaway was definitely a great find. Brad and I were new to the B&B experience so we were uncomfortable with going in but when we arrived we were warmly welcomed. We originally were booked into one of there rooms which were very nice but as we were on a walk on there property we found the cabin at the back of the property and fell in love. Trevor and Livia were kind enough to allow us to switch from our room to the cabin. The night out there was so peaceful you could hear the coyote's howling and bullfrogs chirping. The cabin had no electricity which made it even more endearing, lit by the glow of lanterns. Breakfast was delicious with a great fruit salad, eggs bacon and toast. I would definitely recommend this B&B and will be returning in the future.

Tobie and I were keen on staying in a rustic cabin in the woods. We certainly found it! Not only were Livia and Trevor wonderful hosts, but the breakfasts were fantastic. I will be mentioning this B&B in my monthly newsletter and on my website. Cheers!

Very happy with our choice of lodging... breakfast was delicious, the room was comfy and spacious, Livia and Trevor are wonderful hosts and they really made us feel right at home...also had the chance to meet nice fellow guests. We highly recommend this B&B especially if you are looking for a place with country feel... next time we hope to stay longer to enjoy the lovely environment and trail.

When I decided to get away for a few days I had no idea where I wanted to go, or why, completely. When I chose The Nottawasaga Hideaway B&B I had no idea how relaxing and peaceful it would be. The room was beautiful! The bullfrogs serenaded me at night, the birds helped me welcome the morning and the fact that someone else was cooking for me was so refreshing! Livia created breakfasts that were delicious and inspirational. Enjoying them on the front porch with the sights and sounds of the country was an added bonus. Livia and Trevor, and their friendly cats and dog, helped make this 'getaway' a memorable experience. Thank you so much!

We had a fantastic experience at Nottawasaga Hideaway. Some of the highlights included snowshoeing on the forest trails behind the house, star-gazing from the hot tub, the delicious breakfast, and the beautiful artwork hung throughout the house. I will definitely recommend this bed and breakfast to my friends and family, and hope to return myself in the future.

Trevor & Livia, Thank you for hospitality! I had to admit I was nervous for a first timer! We deeply appreciated your company and warm wonderful home and excellent meals! Nicholas and I have already recommended your hideaway to family and friends. We hope to visit again some time soon. The bird watching with breakfast was one of my favourite parts. Thanks again for all you have done!

I am a hotel junkie and was skeptical about staying at a B&B. Livia and Trevor completely changed my mind. They were the perfect hosts; great food (Livia is an awesome cook), great conversation, great facilities (hot tub + sauna, etc), and all around a fantastic experience. Highly recommended.
